1 hour introductory
session
The must knows, should knows and could knows
We will introduce you to the ATV's you will ride, and will ensure you understand the controls and discuss and demonstrate how to be 'rider active'. After a short session, which will include familiarisation riding, a follow my leader and some lumps and bumps to get you used to 'shifting' body weight, we will depart for a flat but lumpy and bumpy ride which lasts about 40 minutes. This session is perfectly suited to the family group.
Minimum age for this session is 12 and a maximum of 4 in the group.
Our 150cc machines

2 Hr Cross Country Trek
Our most popular session
This session is all about some great fun rolling riding in the beautiful Shiskine Valley. Even though it's a low level trek, we still get up high enough to get unparalleled views over the Kilbrannan Sound, over Kintyre to Jura and Islay beyond. The ride will be progressive in terms of difficulty and tailored to your ability to ride over some technically demanding countryside, with lumps, ramps, hills, ditches and plenty of boggy wet bits to add to the fun. We will also cover and teach you how things can go wrong on steep ground and how to 'fix' a failed hill climb. You will get to experience the difference in high and low gear ratios and get to experience the power of CanAm's Intelligent Engine Braking. This session is as much an education as it is fun, and will leave you with the confidence of how to ride an ATV (Quad bike) safely.
Minimum age is 16 for this session, and a group size of 2 - 4
3 hour mini mountain trek
Available April to August
During these months we stay off the open hillside due to the ground nesting bird season, however we can still provide the thril of getting up onto high ground with some spectacular views and an unforgettable and memorable adventure to be had

4 Hr Mountain Trek
(Aug -Apr only)
A wild ride through the middle of the Island
Our Mountain Trek is as wild as it gets! Nowhere in the UK will you ride a quad bike commercially in as wild and remote country as we are able to. With kind permission from land owners and Stakeholders, we have been granted licences to ride in the Arran Moors SSSI and Special Protection Area out with of the ground nesting bird season April - August. We often see Eagles, Hen Harriers, Short Eared Owls, Red Grouse and Red Deer
This ride takes you up to the top of highest hill in the south of Arran up to 512m above sea level. The views (on a good day) are unbeaten, with the mountains to the north, Islay, Jura, Kintyre, Northern Ireland and the Kilbrannan Sound to the west and south. To the East, the wild middle of Arran and what was the centre of a Volcano.
This is a physically challenging ride and we only take out a group of 2 on this trek. Experience is desired but not necessary. We will tailor the ride to your ability
Minimum age for this session is 16
