We offer a wide range of All Terrain Vehicle treks and other activities to suit the whole family with the Arran Quad Centre! We're based The Balmichael Centre, Shiskine, Isle of Arran.

FUN IS OUR BUSINESS!

We have a range of treks and activities to suit the whole family, or the larger group.  We have a 1 hr trek for over 16's, 2 hr, 1/2 day and full day mountain treks to suit adults and the more adventurous!  We also have a range of other activities available at The Balmichael Centre including:

Indoor Laser Shooting

Archery (summer months only)

Inflatable Jousting

A Large Activity Play Area; Trampolines, playpark and sand pit .  We also have

garden games, croquet, giant jenga, chess, boules, quoits available for you to use in the garden area

For group activities and stag and hen parties, we have our very own highly entertaining ,Mini Highland Games!

 

In addition to the retail outlets, also located here is the Old Mill Coffee Shop a traditional and tastefully decorated converted mill complex, selling freshly prepared home made soups and a wide selection of freshly filled sandwiches,and light lunches.  Teas and coffees, and truely fantastic home baked cakes and traybakes!  We have a healthy eating options menu, and a healthy options childrens menu.

WE OFFER A VARIETY OF FULLY GUIDED
CROSS COUNTRY QUAD BIKE TREKS.

Set in the hills overlooking the Shiskine Valley, with stunning views across to Kintyre, the Kilbrannan Sound, and the mountains of Arran, our quad bike hill treks offer the perfect opportunity for those looking for an activity that is different, exciting, and fun!
Our fully guided sessions last for 1, 2 or 4 hours, and can be booked at The Arran Quad Centre.

Our Hill Trekking Guides have extensive knowledge of the mountains and hills that we operate in and, in addition to holding Lantra Awards in ATV riding skills, we are qualified in ATV Instruction.  Furthermore, our Guides are qualified and very experienced mounatineers and Mountain Leaders.  The Arran Quad Centre is a Lantra ATV Training Course Provider.

The activity of quad bike trekking can be arduous and very physical at times; all participants should have a degree of physical fitness that will enable their comfortable participation.
 All participants will be asked to complete a signed declaration form prior to the activity commencing.

PLEASE NOTE:
 The minimum age of 16 applies to our cross - country quad bike treks and proof of age may be required.
The minimum group size is 2 riders and a maximum of 4 for each activity (unless it is a specific one to one session). In some instances, individual participants may be asked to join a group.

All treks need to be pre-booked and a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required upon booking.  Bookings can be made by contacting the Centre by telephone.


All Personal Protective Equipment is provided, however please feel free to bring your own footwear or waterproofs.
