Group Activities with the Arran Quad Centre
Here at the Arran Quad Centre we strive to be dynamic! We are constantly seeking
new ideas and opportunities, and this year we aim to provide more activities in addition
to our existing hill treks, shooting and archery! We are therefore pleased to be able to offer you
2 new activities that focus on the larger group, be it a hen or a stag party, an office team,
or simply a group of friends or family wanting to spend some time together, and
have some fun!
We now have the following group activities available:
Mini Highland Games
Our Mini Highland Games is a new and fun activity designed for
a group of up to 8 participants.
Engage in our own version of
Scotland's World famous test of courage, strength and stamina!
The Mini Highland Games lasts approximately 2 hrs for a group of 8,
and needs to be pre-booked. Due to the nature of the activity, the minimum age for
participation is 16. The activity is subject to a minimum group of 4 and a maximum
of 8 participants.
Participants need to be of good health, and relatively fit as the Mini Highland
Games is a strenuous activity. An absolute rake of FUN!!!
Balmichael Krypton Factor
A full day's fun and team based activity that can entertain a minimum group 8 and
a maximum group of up to 16 participants. The activity focusses on solving problems, which
requires; Teamwork, Planning, Motivation, Coordination and Control.
Many phases of the Krypton Factor requires lifting, shifting, climbing and the use of ropes and
harnesses, so as with our Mini Highland Games, participants should have a degree of physical fitness.
Lunch and refreshments are included with this activity.
We reccomend that participants for both of these activities bring boots or 'stout footwear' with them.
We provide all safety equipment. Both of these activities are available all year round, however
they are best suited to the drier months of April to October, we do however reccomend that
participants bring a jacket and wear suitable clothing due to the nature of our 'temperate' climate!
The Mini Highland Games can be included as part of a fun day out at the Centre, which
can also incorporate other activities such as Laser shooting, Quad Trekking,
and Archery.
