Explore the Island Like Never Before

After a warm welcome, we will introduce you to the CanAm ATV that will be your 'workhorse' for the duration of the trek.

Once you are happy with the controls we will have a short introductory session to confirm you can ride 'actively', and then we will be off to Discover and Explore!

Experienced Guides

Lead Guide Darryl Urquhart-Dixon originally established The Arran Quad Centre back in 2003, in its prime we were guiding up to 20 treks a week of varying distances and grades.  We ceased operating in 2010 to raise our family.  Now our family is all grown up..... here we go again!

Darryl is a passionate outdoorsman who is qualified in many outdoor activities, having spent many years as a white water Kayak Coach and Professional Outdoor Education Instructor, working with young people and adults alike.

Darryl has been an active member of Arran Mountain Rescue Team for over 17 years, and has vast experience leading people and groups in the mountains, both on Quad bikes and on foot.

Stunning Wild and rugged  Scenery

Ride through the beautiful landscape that Arran has to offer. Our lowland and Mountain treks are truly breath-taking.

We can take you up and into wild country, with spectacular views over the west coast of Scotland, with vistas over the Kilbrannan Sound to the Islands of Islay and Jura.

Regularly we can see Red Deer, Red Grouse, Golden Eagles and other Birds of Prey such as Hen Harriers, and Short Eared Owls.

Our wild and rugged Island

Scotland in minature

Often quoted as 'Scotland in minature', Arran sits on the Highland Fault Line.  With sharp mountains in the north (with the highest point being Goat Fell at 874m), and rolling hills and countryside in the south.  it may well be Scotland in minature but the scenery packs a mighty punch!

We cater for all levels of Experience

Whether you have previous experience of ATVs or a total novice, we are able to take you out riding.

Our machines are fully automatic, we will teach and guide you, but most importantly we will keep you safe while you have fun.

We have one machine that is a 2 seater, so if you just want to be a passenger, our Guides will happily welcome you onboard and taxi you across the countryside.

We will give you an adventure you will remember for years to come!

We guarantee you will leave happy.  When we were operating previously, we had  many repeat customers year upon year.

Nowhere on Arran will you experience an adventure like a Quad Trek with the Arran Quad Centre.
